Pollution Prevention Waste Management Workshop – Austin

September 20, 2017 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Provides businesses, governments, and other entities managing hazardous waste and reporting training on preventing pollution from hazardous waste and toxic chemicals. Information on programs and resources to help create, continue, and publicize a facility’s P2 and waste management efforts will be provided.

Early Registration (through Aug. 31): $79.00
Registration (Sept. 1 – Sept.19): $159.00
Onsite Registration (Sept. 20): $179.00

Workshop Spotlights:

Pollution Prevention plans are required from all Small and Large Quantity Generators of hazardous waste as well as Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) Form R reporters in the State of Texas.  This workshop offers:

  • Waste Program updates
  • TRI rule requirements and updates
  • Understanding of the P2 rule and what is required
  • Resources and options for pollution prevention projects

These topics may save your facility time, effort, and money as well as potentially avoiding violations, citations, fines, and penalties.

Professional Engineers and Professional Geoscientists may be eligible for continuing education credits.
