Job Summary:  The University of Texas at Arlington’s Environmental Training Institute (ETI) is in need of instructors for FY 2017 – 2018 for immediate program openings. We are accepting applications to fill current and future part-time positions to develop and/or teach courses in the subject areas listed below.  Other courses/subject areas may become available.

  • Introduction to Environmental Compliance
  • Air – Fundamentals of the Clean Air Act (CAA) Compliance, Permitting, State requirements, Air Monitoring, etc.
  • Waste – Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Compliance, Permitting, State requirements, etc.
  • Water – Introduction to Water and Wastewater Regulations, Clean Water Act (CWA), National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), Storm Water, State requirements, etc.
  • Environmental Audits
  • Environmental Management Systems
  • Environmental Law
  • EPA Outreach Trainer Course and refresher
  • Spill, Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC)

Minimum Qualifications: Background and expertise in subject area, experience teaching or training of adults or targeted audience. Extensive experience, academic degrees or professional credentials preferred. Some subject areas may also require specific certifications and levels of experience/training. References and background check required.
