Project Manager/Estimator
1 Priority Environmental Services, a Fort Worth based asbestos abatement and environmental remediation services contractor, has an opening for an experienced project manager/estimator. Preferred experience would be at least 1 year in one or more of the following areas:
- Asbestos abatement contractor
- Asbestos consulting, project management or surveys
- Mold remediation contracting
- Mold consulting, project management or surveys
- Lead paint abatement contractor
- Lead paint abatement consulting, monitoring or surveys
- Hazardous waste related services
- Chemical and Biological decontamination
- Industrial services
- Insurance restoration
- Fire/Disaster/Water damage restoration
- Other regulated remediation and demolition or decontamination work
Compensation:
- Base salary between $50,000 to $85,000 depending on experience, plus commission
- Health, dental, vision insurance
- Vehicle and phone allowance
- Full time employment
Job Description tasks:
- Develop relationships with clients (Consultants, Contractors, Facilities representative, Governmental agencies, etc…)
- Follow up on relationships & work to secure projects for 1PES on all open opportunities.
- Develop, submit, search for and follow up on bid leads from various sources including those from iSqft, Blue Book and other lead sources.
- Walk projects, create bids, assist with pre-project set up, pre-job documentation, and post project documentation.
- Provide project management for projects.
- Attend pre-bid meetings, pre-construction meetings, construction progress meetings and gather project information as needed on own projects as well as on other projects not directly manager as requested.
- Assist other 1PES offices; typical duties, to walk projects for other estimators/project managers and provide project management for jobs.
- Other similar management, business and business development tasks.
