Engineer, Environmental II

In support of our ONE Southwire approach and Culture of Zero philosophy, this position will implement and manage the environmental programs at the Building Wire Plant (SCBWP) and North Campus (SCNC) facilities to ensure that all activities at the facility are in compliance with Southwire standards and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. 

 General Description of Duties/Responsibilities:

• Work with plant management teams, divisional environmental, health and safety (EHS) leadership, and corporate EHS staff to develop, implement, monitor, and maintain effective environmental management strategies.
• Ensure that all activities at the facility are in compliance with environmental and other applicable regulations.
• Manage air, water, and waste compliance assurance activities at the facility.
