Presentation: Dr Tramm will update us on the work towards getting more reasonable screening values for naturally occurring metals (i.e. arsenic and lead). This has generally become known as the “Back the BTV” effort and has included two research articles, presentations across the state, and a meeting with the TCEQ chairman.  In March 2025, TCEQ issued an update to their TRRP memo ( now officially a regulatory guidance document) that affords you more flexibility but brings with it new risks you need to consider when working with naturally occurring metals.
